The Multi Out Drum Kit can create up to 16 auxiliaries for use with the drum kit. I think if you use 16 auxiliaries you might need your head checked, but of course I have been guilty of far worse! Get the Mixer ready to receive multiple outputs from the Drum designer plug-in. The first five auxiliaries will automatically be named according to their corresponding drum kit piece.

The optimization of the cymbal decay is also just wonderful. In fact the Logic Pro X side of things is exactly the same, but you have to make some adjustments within the plug-in. Again instantiate the instrument as multi-output — some instruments give you several choices of output configuration, so pick the one you need.

In this case, let's go for the output version of Kontakt. Now select the Output icon in the Kontakt window, which displays the output channels. To see all 16, click 'Add Channels' then enter 16 as the Quantity. Number of channels should be left set at 2 if each output is to be stereo. Add your instruments within Kontakt and then open Logic's mixer. Kontakt increments the MIDI channel for each instrument added so you don't need to do that manually.

Drum Kit designer also has many of the popular kicks and snares any producer would want. They may not be able to use the manufacturer's names in the kit pieces, but names like 'Black Beauty' and 'Noble and Cooley' will come to many producer's minds.
